MARIE SZOSTKOVATranslating the tension between ambition and identity into a music video"
Kiané's The Man explores the tension between external success and internal conflict. Rather than illustrating the lyrics literally, I developed a visual language built around two opposing identities—Idol and Chaos—allowing colour, composition and movement to communicate the emotional narrative.
I led the creative concept and art direction, translating abstract themes into a cohesive cinematic world that informed every stage of production, from visual treatments and styling through to on-set direction.
The final film establishes a distinctive visual identity for the artist while supporting the release across digital platforms.

A visual exploration of duality. I translated the artist's themes of success and inner turmoil into two distinct worlds, using contrasting colors and framing to show the collision between the "Idol" and the "Chaos."
